Consol-Park

Consol Park in Gelsenkirchen is a child-friendly place with a large playground and numerous recreational opportunities. The park features expansive meadows, a basketball court, skate facilities, and outdoor activities for children and teenagers. Notably, the well-restored winding tower of the former Consol mine offers tours in the old machine hall. The park is ideal for walks and bike rides and is easily accessible by bicycle. Despite its many advantages, there are some challenges, such as unwanted gatherings and the use of the skate park as a playground.
