Kalifornische Seelöwen

The California sea lions at Wilhelma in Stuttgart are a popular attraction, especially for children. The daily, narrated feeding draws many spectators and offers the chance to watch the sea lions perform little tricks. Although the enclosure is somewhat small, the animals seem happy during the shows. The zookeepers are friendly and explain a lot about the sea lions, making the experience informative and entertaining. However, there are concerns regarding the living conditions of the sea lions, as their pools are perceived as cramped and captivity can cause stress.
