Especially in summer, the shady playground is a popular meeting point for families.”

Spielplatz Am Bachele

“The playground Am Bachele in Bonn is a simple yet well-maintained place for the little ones. With a slide, a spring rocker, and a climbing frame, it offers basic play opportunities. The facility is manageable and particularly suitable for children under four years old. Although there are no special extras, children can play happily here, even if the experience can become a bit monotonous after about 30 minutes to an hour. Its location along a footpath makes it easily accessible, but it lacks exciting attractions.”

Spielplatz Am Wichelshof

“The playground Am Wichelshof in Bonn offers a simple, child-friendly environment with a large meadow that is ideal for family outings. The playground features a climbing frame and a slide, but lacks some popular play equipment like swings. The sandbox is a positive aspect, but it does not provide enough variety for small children. The location is good, but there are reports of poor cleanliness and competition for trash bins with dog owners. Overall, the place is more suitable for a short stay.”

Spielplatz Truchseßstr./Aennchenstr.

“The playground at Truchseßstraße/Aennchenstraße in Bonn is a small but charming place for children, particularly notable for its spacious lawn. Here, kids can play soccer, slide, and climb. However, after renovations, there are no longer any seating areas in the play area, and the zip line has been removed. Despite the limited play options, the space is clean and offers plenty of shade after 5 PM, making it a pleasant spot on hot days.”

Spielplatz Oswald-Achenbach-Straße

“The playground on Oswald-Achenbach-Street in Ückesdorf, Bonn, offers a small but inviting environment for younger children. With a play tower equipped with chains and buckets, little ones can pull up sand and transport it back down a chute. A small slide adds extra fun. Here, children quickly make friends, and adults often find connections too. However, the selection of play equipment could be larger, and the presence of dogs in the playground is a downside, as it can lead to unhygienic situations.”

Spielplatz im Kurpark

“The playground in the Kurpark in Bonn is a small, child-friendly place that is especially suitable for toddlers up to 8 years old. With a seesaw, a baby climbing slide, and a sandbox, it offers basic play opportunities. The shade-giving trees and the low fence create a safe environment where parents can relax while their children play. However, the playground is quite small and offers only a limited selection of play equipment, making it less attractive for older children.”

Spielplatz "Arche Noah"

“The playground 'Arche Noah' in Bonn offers a child-friendly environment with various play equipment, including a slide, a ship made of tree trunks, and a net swing. The area is pleasantly shaded and ideal for younger children who want to enjoy nature. Its location near the Rhine provides a calm atmosphere. However, there are some concerns regarding cleanliness and the condition of the play equipment, which could affect safety.”

Spielplatz Wielsgäßchen

“The Wielsgäßchen playground in Poppelsdorf, Bonn, offers a variety of play opportunities for children of all ages. With beautiful playhouses, towers, and a soccer field with a basketball hoop, the space is both spacious and diverse. The shady areas under the trees invite you to linger. However, the playground is located right next to a busy road, which can affect the noise level. Additionally, there are some safety concerns, such as sharp edges on a memorial plaque and poison bait traps for rats. Overall, it is a solid place for families to spend time together.”

Spielplatz Gutenbergallee

“The playground on Gutenbergallee in Bonn is a spacious area that offers children plenty of room to romp around. Here you will find basic play equipment such as slides, swings, and seesaws that provide fun and movement. Despite the simple facilities, the playground is a popular meeting point for families. However, there are some criticisms as the area is partly dirty and the play options seem limited.”
